Though she is only 1/2 days and is not accessing PE, I’d be curious whether she would be eligible for adapted physical education, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Though parents may choose to decline services, it’s important we offer goals and services to address all areas of need (even if it’s not academic). To me it sounds more like an IEP, but it would be based on assessments, present levels, and areas of need. I would also want to think about how modified days due to limited strength and vitality impact her access to instruction. What is she not receiving because of her condition?
