    We’re required to assess in all areas of suspected disability. So, if a kid has a health condition that is impacting their education, you need to know what that impact is on their learning (if there is any). Of course we look for other ways it may be impacting them such as adaptive, social, behavior, etc. but I would recommend we always look at the impact on the students learning. I can’t think of a situation for OHI in which we wouldn’t want to look at academics. In the end, I think it’s better to look at more areas and find that they are fine, rather than missing something.
